Cover Bands

The cover band (also known as a tribute band) is an ideal choice for a wedding band when the wedding party or wedding guests like the same type of music. A cover band may be able to feature a certain song the bride and groom feels typifies their experience or relationship. A cover band is known by type of music that they play or that group that they cover, like the Beach Boys, Beatles, Dave Matthews Band, Rolling Stones or other famous band.

A cover band is popular when the bride and groom like the certain selection of songs but do not necessarily want to hear the recorded versions of these songs played by a DJ.

Prior to the wedding, the bride and groom will want to sit down and hear the band play the songs they love to make sure the group plays them as the bride and groom will want to hear them. A good cover band will probably play most of the songs of a certain musical group and several other types of music from various artists. Usually, a cover band will have experience playing a wedding venue, and they will perform in a similar manner to the band they are covering.

The cover band can be a fun choice at a relaxed or less formal wedding.
